Storage tanks
A storage tank is a vessel (basin, recipient, tank) used to store fluids, powders or granular products. They come made of concrete, metal, plastic, GRP, e. a. Tanks can be stationary if they exceed a certain volume, or can be mobile if they can be fitted onto a vehicle (e.g. road tanker). Depending on the placement of theirs, tanks can be underground or above ground installations, or even suspended.
The recipients from which vehicle engines are fuelled are also called tanks (auto-moto, ships, airplanes, space shuttles).
Our tanks can be used to store approximately everything and anything, from firefighting water to strawberry marmalade, fuels being half way in the list.
They have very long lifespan, requiring minimum operator intervention in the moment of initial setup, and minimal maintenance during exploitation.
