Covers, gratings, and frames made of composite material supplied by TRIPLAST SRL are used for the protection and closure of manholes, inspection chambers, drains, water adduction chambers, sewerage and water supply installations, connection chambers in networks of sewerage, gas, electricity, telecommunications, for access to valves, hydrants, e.a. Covers, gratings, and frames are made of polyesther resins reinforced with glass fiber, by lamination, pressing and mechanical processing in special molds.
The assembly consists of the fixed element (frame) and one or more movable elements called covers or grating, used to cover and/or close the chamber and drains.
The frame is fixed and has the role of a resting surface for the lids and grates used.
The location and load class of the covering devices compies with EN 124:2015. According to this standard, the covers and gratings are divided into the following classes: F900, E600, D400, C250, B125 and A15.
